How To Get Your Sites Indexed By Google Extremely Quickly
By bogleg20
I often have people complain to me about how long it takes to get their sites indexed in Google. Honestly, it really isn't that difficult, and I can usually get my own pages indexed in one or two days, and sometimes under 24 hours. My trick isn't to rely on one single method, but to use a few techniques in combination. Usually one of them will result in getting the Google bot to come crawling over to my new site and indexing it. Here are my Top 4 methods.
1. Get A Link From One Of Your High Authority Sites
I know not everyone has a site or blog that ranks well and has the Google Bot coming back constantly. But if you do, this is often the best method. Your hubpages are great for this, so if you have any related hubs that you can add your link to, do so. Also make sure to ping the page that you added the link to.
2. Submit Your Link To Social Bookmarking Sites
It used to be that I could just submit my site to Digg, and my site would be guaranteed to be indexed by Google within a few hours. Nowadays, this doesn't always seem to be the case, but it doesn't hurt to submit your site there anyway. Usually when I create a new site, I will submit it to both Digg and Mixx and ping the submissions. Feel free to substitute your favorite social bookmarking site here. For a fully automated solution, you may want to check out Bookmarking Demon for submitting your pages to several highly ranked social bookmarking sites.
3. Post Your Link On Twitter
Twitter is all the rage these days, and Google is usually pretty quick to index twitter content. I'll usually post a tweet whenever I create some new content and include my link. Depending on your number of followers, this will also have the side benefit of sending some decent traffic to your new site.
4. Submit Your RSS Feed To RSS Directories
If the site you just created has an RSS feed, then this is a great method to use. Although it's not really a RSS directory, my favorite site for this is Zimbio. Just create a free account and add your feeds to the site. Whenever you publish any new content, click the Ping Your Blog link and select your particular feed. What's nice about these RSS aggregators is that it only takes a minute to submit to each one. Here is a list of some other RSS directories you should be using:
How Do I Tell If My Site Has Been Indexed By Google?
The easiest way is to go to Google and type:
site:http://www.yoursiteurl.com
If you see your site there, then you are in. Easy!
What is pinging and how do I do it?
As you may have
noticed, I suggest above that you ping the pages you add your links to.
For those that don't know, pinging is a way of notifying different ping
servers that the content of your page has changed. Now, I don't
honestly have any evidence that pinging by itself helps get your pages
indexed faster, but people say it does so I just do it. Its extremely
easy to do so I just make it part of my process. The site I usually use
to ping is called Ping.in. Pingomatic and Pingler are two other alternatives you can try.
By
following these simple suggestions, you should be able to get any page
indexed by Google in less than 48 hours - if not sooner. Doing these
steps also has the added benefit of building links back to your site,
so you should be following these steps anyway. If you found this hub

Interesting about the pinging; I hadn't heard about it before I read your hub. I'll keep it in mind!

Just a thought on Pinging if you are using Wordpress. Wordpress will automatically ping any services you put in to it every time you add a post.
Once you are signed in go to : Settings > Writing and at the bottom of the page there is the Update Services section.
Add this following list and you will soon be pinging 88 accounts:
I hope this helps...
